the female levite of the cg - Erika Liana Muhammad

Erika came to the cg at Feb 2005. I remember Sis Esther shared in the cell group that she brought a girl to church because she was this gal's mentor. However, it seems that MOE laws forbids such practices but erika was fine with it and she went with Esther. Her initial response of the church, "verii cool.. i like it.." that was back then when pastor Ulf Ekman had a conference in february. However, esther ask her and say, "do u want to go to other cell groups instead?? Because right now i'm your teacher, and the MOE laws fobids so." Erika responded, "it's ok, Esther.. I'll stay with you.." and that sparked her destiny with the cell group.

Finally one fine day she came for cell group. The way she introduced herself is rather impressive t i would nv forget. After saying the basic introduction, she declared that she gave her life to Jesus about 1 week ago. That was abt one and the half year ago. Esther further commented that she was the babe of the whole school.

However, there was 1 incident that i would never forget when i met her. On the way home via MRT, i was waiting for the train when i saw her. I was like, pretending that i could not see her because of unfamiliarity. Again that was way back then abt one and the half year ago also.. haha.. However one sunday morning when i was on the church bus going to service to Jurong West, i saw her and she smiled and say, "hi". Managed to chat abit, and slowly built our relationship.

she found her closest friends with samantha and angie last year. They were probably one of the influential women i the cell group. As i mentioned on my previous entry, they loved camwhoring and also shopping.

Perhaps one of her darkest moments is her failure to qualify for the Singapore Idol contest. However, what doesn't kills her makes her stronger. She takes up private singing classes, sign up for the choir ministry as she decided to honor God with her singing and vocals first, as she believe her dreams and desires will come to pass when she put Him first.

Right now she is having her study break, i always believe that she can do well when put her heart and efforts to study. Our God is a good God, for whatever we sow we reap. Just wanna hope that she will be the head and not the tail, above and not beneath. Oh and btw, she is our new blogger for this website. Do give her the support, cheers.
